Are we there yet?
Yes we are! But when are we supposed to be there? We meet Wednesdays at 6 PM at the bathroom & showers left of the Shoreline Café at Leadbetter Beach to go running. We typically set off at 6:10 (no stragglers!) heading north-east along Shoreline and Cabrillo (that’s “south” according to the 101 Freeway because it eventually leads to L.A.) to the Bird Refuge (about 5k in distance) and then turn around. Newcomers, slower runners, and people resting for a race are welcome to turn around earlier, for example at East Beach.
After the run, we usually make an ad hoc decision on where to eat dinner, drink beer, and chat about the past and coming weekends. For some examples of location, click the link “Where we eat” in the sidebar to the left.
